Though we can´t give you a kitchen sink, we can give you lots of advice on how to remodel your kitchen and do it right the first time. Kitchen remodeling is a major expense and you shouldn´t waste your money on a kitchen you don´t like. You spend a lot of time in your kitchen. In fact, the kitchen is the most important room in your house when it comes time to sell. Spare no expense on your kitchen remodeling project and you will be glad you didn´t.
How to choose a kitchen cabinet
First Things First
It's my recommendation to you, and what I do myself, that you draw every plane of your cabinets. You don't have to be an artist, but use a ruler and try to draw to scale. Most any average handy man will probably have the tools that are necessary to do cabinet refacing. There are a few special items that I'll discuss later, but the ones you must have are:- Sharp Knife or Black Sharpie®
- Battery Powered Drill/Driver (for cabinet doors)
- Various small size drill bits
- 4' & 2' Levels
- Utility Knife (with brand new blades)
- Very sharp and accurate snips (Not ones you've used for roofing!)
- A belt sander is very helpful but you can use sheets of sandpaper

What does Kitchen Refacing Cabinets involve?
There are basically two routes that you can take regarding the material you'll use for refacing your cabinets. You can use real wood veneer, or a laminate such as Formica. You can also use real wood doors, or Thermal Foil covered MDF. Most manufacturers of doors have many different options to select from. Let's take a look at the pros and cons of both types.
